Q.  I am the winner of lightweight and Overall at Manitoba privincials June 4th, my business was a sponsor as well there are no pictures of me ever giving any trophies and now there are no pictures of me at all. I am now a national athlelete and Mike Asieud and Darryl Landry are my trainers. Mike Asiedu introduced me to you the owner of Muscle Insider after the Pro show and I was just wondering why there are no pictures of me at all? I am a bodybuilder nantional level athlete, educated and motivated by drive and character to succeed, i beleive i would be a great asset to your team and I was hoping to find out information as to what can I do to be sponsored by you. I have the qualitites to be marketable for your magazine and promote as well as part of your great team of athletes. if you cand direct me as to who to write and send my portafolio that would be great. and I do hope that i can get an interview or article for my accomplishments as an athlete.thank you very much.

A. Congratulations on your win and it's great to see your company sponsoring the Manitoba show. The IFBB bodybuilding community in Manitoba is alive and well and we hope that as more shows go on, even more companies will join both of our businesses in sponsoring these show. Because we sponsor 36 different shows across Canada, we cannot be at each show ourselves as we're based in Toronto and some shows fall on the same day as other shows. In fact, we had one weekend where 4 different shows happened the same day! Not to mention the flight costs, hotel costs etc. it's simply too much for us to afford to be at every single show ourselves. But thankfully as part of our sponsorship and with the assistance of various volunteers across Canada, we have various photographers at every show that send us photos they take. Usually within 24 hours of an event we receive their photos but sometimes this takes longer if the photographer doesn't send this to us right away for whatever reason. When they come in though, we try post every athlete in the set of photos we are sent. If an athlete was not photographed or if the photo did not turn out, we may not have even been sent the picture. In most cases this is not the case but it can and has happened. The man who's in charge of our contest coverage is Domenic Mauro (domenic@muscle-insider.com) and he does a great job at getting photos up as soon as he gets the photos in. I will follow up with him to see if he's missed your photo and see what happened. Sometimes our photo gallery is hard to navigate through and people forget to click on the different tabs at the bottom of the thumbnails to go to the other pages. As for sponsoring athletes, this is something we simply cannot afford to do for you or anyone else right now. We choose instead to donate a portion of every dollar we earn to sponsor and cover all IFBB Pro League (CPA) shows here in Canada.
