Dangers Of Steroids
Scott, I wanna get shredded. What steroids do the pros use to rip off the fat?
That’s one of the biggest myths involving steroids. They do not burn fat. What they will do is help preserve muscle while cutting and help partition nutrients while you cut up. For example, if you’re sitting at 200 pounds and 10 percent body fat, you’ll be carrying 20 pounds of excess fat. Now, if you were on a stack of, say, Sustanon 250 and Deca, and you packed on 5 pounds of lean muscle, your current weight would be 205 pounds, but you’d still be carrying 20 pounds of body fat. That equates to 9 percent body fat—down 1 percent. As you can see, the total amount of fat weight has remained the same (20 pounds). Steroids wouldn’t burn any fat off you—your body composition just changes. You’d get a leaner look, but the amount of fat remains the same. But don’t take this question as any type of push to use steroids. They can cause serious side effects, especially when not used correctly or under a doctor’s supervision. A huge percentage of black market steroids are counterfeit, which makes it even more of a guessing game about your health. But the final reason to stay clear of steroids is the fact that it’s illegal to buy or sell them in Canada. If you’re caught, you’ll land your ass in jail!
