XPN Athlete JF Caron Places 3rd at Worlds Strongest Man

XPN Performance Nutrition is a hot Canadian brand that we’ve been keeping our eyes on as of late. We’ve seen some great new updates this year including the XPN Classic Series line of products, plus the addition of XPN Burn-X Sour Cherry Candies flavor. It was also very cool to see that XPN has sponsored Canadian professional stock car racing driver Donald Theetge. It’s nice to see a brand bringing great products to the marketplace, as well as creative marketing and sponsorship opportunities like we’ve seen here.

XPN athlete JF (Jean-Francois) Caron is a pro-strongman and gym owner, hailing from Quebec, Canada. Caron has held the title of Canada’s Strongest Man for a record of nine times, every year since 2011. Additionally, in 2016 he won all 8 events of the contest. He is the only competitor to ever have a clean sweep of the entire Canada’s Strongest Man competition. This year’s event marks Caron’s tenth time competing at the Worlds Strongest Man contest. For the years 2016 – 2018, JF took the 5th place finish, and in 2019 he broke that streak with a 4th place finish. Caron had his best finish ever this year, placing 3rd at the 2020 World’s Strongest Man contest.

After the event was postponed from May 20 – 24, due to the Coronavirus pandemic, the contest just wrapped up on Anna Maria Island in Bradenton, Florida, from November 11 – 15, 2020. Being the first podium finish for Caron is an incredible accomplishment. The final results left Oleksii Novikov crowned this year’s winner. Second place went to Tom Stoltman, while long time fan favorite Brian Shaw, ended up with a fifth-place finish.
