2024 Tampa Pro Womens Predictions

Contest coverage is sponsored by MUTANT!

Bodybuilding fans in Tampa, Florida are in for a special treat. The Tampa Pro, set for August 1st through 3rd, will feature all six women’s IFBB Pro League divisions. All six of those categories also come with 2024 Olympia qualifications that will be awarded to the winners.

You may have already seen our Men’s predictions, and now it’s time to set our sights on the Women’s side of the stage. You can see the full rosters for all divisions in our Instagram post HERE. Make sure you check back to Muscle Insider following the show to see how we did.

Thank you to our friends at MUTANT for their support of our 2024 Tampa Pro coverage. You can follow them on Instagram @mutantnation and order their top-notch supplements at www.iammutant.com.

Women’s Bodybuilding

Mayla Ash was third at the 2024 Chicago Pro, and she still needs a win to qualify for the Ms. Olympia. Michaela Aycock won the Lenda Murray Atlanta Pro, and she is locked in for Olympia already. Kristina Mendoza is making her 2024 season debut, and she has had time to make improvements. This is going to be a great contest. Any of them could win, but we think Ash’s need to win and earn that Olympia invite will push her to victory.

  1. Mayla Ash
  2. Michaela Aycock
  3. Kristina Mendoza

Fitness

Amber Steffen was second in Atlanta, and she has been knocking on the door for a win for quite some time now. Standing in her way in Tampa will be Michelle Gales, who has competed in this show every year since 2017. Her best finish was third in 2020. Anna Adams made her pro debut in Atlanta and finished in fourth place. And with Aurika Tyrgale in the lineup, after finishing in fifth place at Arnold’s this year, she is one you can’t rule out taking a podium spot. It will be a close contest, but we think Steffen is going to get the win she has been working so hard for here.

  1. Amber Steffen
  2. Anna Adams
  3. Michelle Gales

Figure

The Figure division will be a compelling show in Tampa. Among the contenders are Manon Dutilly, fresh off a win in Vancouver, and Lena Ramsteiner, who has been on fire this year. Both women are already locked into the Olympia, and Thais Cabrices-Werner, who was third in the Chicago Pro is looking to earn her ticket as well. If either Dutilly or Ramsteiner win, then no new Olympia invite will be awarded. This could be a monumental win for Cabrices-Werner, and we think she is capable. However, based on the success Lena has been achieving, we are looking for Ramsteiner to walk away with another victory here.

  2. Manon Dutilly
  3. Thais Cabrices-Werner

Bikini

Alice Rocha pulled off a massive upset by defeating Ashley Kaltwasser at the Patriots Challenge Pro. She is qualified for the Olympia, but now she faces another previous Olympia champion – 2019 winner Elisa Pecini, who is making her return to the stage after backing out from Arnold’s earlier this year due to an emergency surgery. She will also face two-time 2024 show winner Reijuana Harley.

This may be the most competitive category out of all six divisions on the women’s side of the stage. Our Insiders have been communicating with Isa’s coach James Ayotte of Team Atlas, and from everything we’ve seen from her recovery, we are very confident that Pecini will come out on top.

  1. Elisa Pacini
  2. Reijuana Harley
  3. Alice Rocha

Women’s Physique

Zama Benta was third at the 2023 Olympia, meaning she is automatically qualified for the 2024 Olympia. This will be her first show of the 2024 season. Anything is possible in bodybuilding, but we can’t see her being beaten here. We think Paula Ranta and Eileen Aviles could make it a competitive callout for sure, but Benta will be the last to leave the stage.

  1. Zama Benta
  2. Paula Ranta
  3. Eileen Aviles

Wellness

In the IFBB Pro Wellness category, we will witness 21 incredible athletes take center stage. Once again, we defer to the Wellness Observer himself, Johnny Styles, for our picks here.

In what might seem a surprise for many, Kassandra Gillis joins this lineup, as she has yet to earn her 2024 Olympia qualification. Gillis is currently in her best shape, with a physique that is bigger, fuller, and her posing has dramatically improved without a shadow of out. Ever since Kass began working with Team Lino Posing, her stage presence is night and day from where she was even one year ago. She is one of the favorites to win this show. Team Ludachris seems to be everywhere now when it comes to high-caliber Wellness athletes.

Competing for the first time in Florida from Brazil, but currently living in France, is Juliana Mota considered one of the originals in terms of shape, structure, and muscularity in the Wellness division. Juju has changed her physique while she still maintains the size. She isn’t as hard as she used to be, but it seems that this new and improved structure is helping her, and the judges seem to favour this look over the harder physique of the past. She just won a few weeks ago, so there is a high probability that she could claim that top spot.

We can’t forget about Lisa Meiswinkel who has an entirely different package from last year. She is bigger, harder, and overall looks like a completely different person. She is a force to be reckoned with, so we expect to see her stand out on stage.

Grecia Hernandez is a woman you must keep your eyes on at this show. Hernandez pushed the limits during her last outing in Texas, where she made her IFBB Pro debut. She may be a shorter competitor, but Grecia has all the necessary tools to place in any show.

Of course, we don’t want to miss mentioning Yami Patridge, who has had the best competitive season in her entire career. She has focused on her weaknesses and now possesses one of the best side poses in this lineup. Be sure to check out her round glutes from the side. She is also a heavy favorite to win the Master’s Wellness class.

Chelsea Smith is in the show, and I consider her to be a Dark Horse in this lineup. Smith has taken the time to work on improving her glutes, hamstrings, all the necessary lines, and her posing has improved as well. I’ll be surprised if we don’t see Chelsea in the top 5 when the dust settles.

And finally, I will be watching Alyssa Muoio, as she is making her IFBB Pro Wellness debut. Muoio is coming off a long hiatus from the IFBB Pro Women’s Physique category, so for any ladies watching the show, this is a prime example of how you can transition from one category to another. She has added the muscle needed in her lower body, while bringing her upper body down to fit the Wellness category, now let’s see if her posing fares well.

  1. Kassandra Gillis
  2. Juliana Mota
  3. Lisa Meiswinkel
