Redcon1 B.A.R. Preview

At this year’s Arnold’s Expo, we had the chance to stop by the Redcon1 booth and check out their newest product to market, the Redcon1 B.A.R. (which stands for Breakfast At the Ready). It’s a total throwback to our favourite childhood cereals in milk, but in a convenient on-the-go bar format. It is not hard to identify with which cereals these great flavours are looking to have you reminisce to, such as Rainbow Cereal (Lucky Charms), Cinnamon Crunch Bits (Cinnamon Toast Crunch), and Fruity Cereal (Fruity Pebbles). We’re just missing our morning cartoons to sit down in front of the TV to watch now.

Redcon1 B.A.R. Product Features:

Each 50g bar is made with a blend of whey protein isolate and whey protein concentrate. They have 20g of Protein, only 4g of Fat and 20g of Carbs (4 of which are fibre and only 5g of sugar). The Redcon1 B.A.R. makes for a great breakfast on the go, or even a post workout snack.

The B.A.R. is something quite different than the MRE bar from Redcon1, which uses real food protein sources rather than whey protein. The MRE bar has 20g of protein from salmon, chicken and eggs, and the carbohydrate sources come from oats, brown rice and sweet potato.
