Progressive Sport Real Food Gainer

Company:
Progressive Sport

The clean gainer trend has been silently growing in the background while low cost gainers filled with sugar, high fructose corn syrup and maltodextrin have been on the way down. We have to give credit to iForce for being one of the first supplement companies to hop on this “clean gainer” trend with their Mass Gainz gainer a few years back. Now we’re seeing more companies heading on the direction of using high quality, whole-food ingredients in their gainer. The latest is Progressive Sport Real Food Gainer which is made by Progressive, one of the supplement companies Jamieson acquired over the last few years. Each serving contains complex carbs from whole food sources, plant oils, fruit concentrates, whole grains and more. We don’t have all the details, but we do know that it’s got 30 grams of protein which includes New Zealand Whey making this one of the first gainers we’ve seen with this form of whey. We are not sure of this is a New Zealand Whey Isolate or Concentrate or blend. It also contains 90 grams of carbs (just 5 of which are sugar which they call out on the front label), and 7 grams of fiber. We did a quick google search and found out it’s Informed Sport Certified which means it’s essentially been lab tested and proven to be clean of any banned substances. Since Progressive has their own manufacturing plant and are their own distributors, we can expect this product to be reasonably priced and be well distributed. As we find out more on Progressive Sport Real Food Gainer, we’ll let you know!
