MUTANT Flex Food MRP Preview
Just before the Arnold Sports Festival weekend kicked off, we heard an interview with MUTANT Owner Jim McMahon on the Stack3d podcast, where Jim broke the news of their newest product soon to hit the market. While visiting the MUTANT booth at the Arnold Sports Festival Expo, we did get to see a mock-up of the new MUTANT Flex Food, which is a comprehensive meal replacement. McMahon didn’t share the details of the formula in his interview, the product packaging gave us some of the breakdown of what makes this a true meal replacement.
MUTANT Flex Food features 46 whole food ingredients, with the nutrition profile providing 25 grams of protein per serving. This protein comes from numerous sources including micellar casein, whey concentrate, whey isolate, and whey hydrolysate, pea protein, and pumpkin seed protein. Each serving also delivers 12 grams of carbs, coming from tapioca, pea starch, sweet potato, and quinoa. Healthy sources of fat from flaxseed, avocado powder, and MCTs (from coconut) account for 3 grams of fat per serving. This provides a total of 170 calories per serving.
Something that makes the MUTANT Flex Food formula very different than most other meal replacements available today, is the fact that they have also included a blend of greens such as broccoli, spinach, and kale, fruits like acai, strawberry, and acerola, electrolytes, prebiotic fiber, probiotics, and digestive enzymes. MUTANT Flex Food is expected to officially launch sometime in April, and it will be available in 2 familiar flavors: vanilla and chocolate.
