Massive Nationwide Recall of Dietary Supplements
It was just announced a few days ago, that ABH Nature’s Products, Inc., ABH Pharma, Inc., and Stocknutra.com, Inc. have begun to conduct a nationwide recall of all lots of dietary supplement products manufactured and sold between the dates of January 2013 – November 2019.
This recall is being conducted “pursuant to a Consent Decree entered by the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York,” and with the knowledge of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
The companies listed above, do not sell direct to consumers, but they do contract manufacture dietary supplements for well over 1,200 brands. Some of the brands affected by this recall, include Axis Labs, BPI Sports, EVL Nutrition, Ghost Nutrition, Inner Armour Sports Nutrition, and many more.
The recall was prompted following an FDA inspection at the Edgewood, NY facility, which found violations of the Current Good Manufacturing Practice (CGMP) regulations of a significant nature. Fortunately, there have been no illnesses or injuries reported to date, as a result of this situation.
Wholesalers and distributors are already being contacted that have dietary supplements manufactured by these companies, in order to arrange for remaining products to be returned.
