BioSteel Signs DeAndre Hopkins

BioSteel has not slowed down their activity, even during the trying times we are facing. A short time ago BioSteel signed Super Bowl MVP Patrick Mahomes. Now we received the announcement today, that BioSteel has signed DeAndre Hopkins. This marks a significant partnership between the NFL’s Arizona Cardinals star wide receiver and the sports hydration company. The deal is one of the largest to date for Hopkins, who has signed on as an investor in the company, as part of a multi-year endorsement deal.

“Authenticity is everything to us as we continue to grow our brand,” says Michael Cammalleri, Co-Founder, and Co-CEO. “We’re excited to announce and partner with someone like DeAndre who is a strong believer in the product, to help amplify our story and accelerate our growth.”

Hopkins also recently renegotiated his contract with the Cardinals, without the use of an agent. His new two-year contract is worth an estimated $54.5 million.

“As someone who has been using BioSteel products for years, this partnership came about naturally,” says Hopkins. “As a businessman and equity partner in the company, I see this collaboration as an opportunity to expand the brand as it continues to redefine the sports hydration industry.”

A partnership like this a great business move for both parties, as BioSteel looks to take more of a market share within professional sports from Gatorade. Partnering with top-tier athletes like Hopkins, BioSteel looks to continue its rapid expansion across North America.
