Animal Steps Up to Support Local Community

It's no secret that the world is struggling right now. Ever since the Covid-19 pandemic has led to Health Authorities shutting down businesses, communities are in trouble. During these dark times though, we're always impressed to see the light that so many supplement companies are bringing to those in need. There have been many amazing stories of philanthropy throughout the supplement industry over the past few months. We think back to EFX Sports jumping in right at the beginning to convert their operations to manufacture hand sanitizer for the public, and later offering free protein powder to those in need. ISOPURE donated $240,000 in ISOPURE protein drinks to support healthcare workers, first responders and food banks on the front lines. Optimum Nutrition has donated $1.5 million in product to more than 75 hospitals, fire stations, food banks and other facilities nationwide. Then there was BioSteel pledging $2 million of their Hydration Mix to front-line workers and hospital patients, to ensure they stay hydrated.

It fills our hearts to see Animal stepping up to help support their local community of New Brunswick, NJ during these times of continued hardship. Even though the team at Animal has managed to stay operational through the restrictions, so many businesses all around them have not been as fortunate. Their first priority to support the frontline heroes, by providing thousands of free Animal Immune Paks, loaded with key ingredients such as Vitamin C, Vitamin D, and Astragalus designed to fortify from the inside out. Not to forget the local food banks struggling to keep up with the needs of families trying to eat, Animal donated and delivered 5000 of the brand new Boss Protein Bars to three food pantries in the New Brunswick, NJ area. The organizations that received the donations were Elijah’s Promise Soup Kitchen, Salvation Army New Brunswick, and Rutgers Student Food Pantry. In Canada, Animal products are distributed by Nutrition Excellence.
