Lean and Mean Burgers
Lean & Mean Burger
(Makes 4 servings)
Ingredients:
1 lb. lean red meat
¼ cup quick oats
¼ cup diced mushrooms
¼ cup diced onions
1 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp dried parsley
Pinch cayenne pepper
1 tsp dried parsley
1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
Sea salt and black pepper
Directions:
1. In a bowl, combine everything together and shape into 4 patties, each a half inch thick.
2. Grill the patties at medium-high, 4 to 5 minutes per side.
3. Serve on flat whole wheat hamburger buns with your favorite vegetables and condiments.
