One of the most iconic movie franchises continues with the next generation of athletes; we’re talking about Creed.

The Rocky franchise first introduced Michael B. Jordan as Adonis Creed in 2015, bringing back Sylvester Stallone as the legendary Rocky Balboa. Creed II not only brings back one legend, but two reintroducing Dolph Lundgren as Captain Ivan Drago.

In 1985, Ivan Drago fought and killed Apollo Creed in Rocky IV, during a tragic match that devastated the world. Rocky and his fans sought revenge. Although Rocky won the follow up fight, things were still left unresolved.

33 years later, Ivan Drago’s son seeks out Adonis for a legacy match. Now, both Rocky and Adonis must face their past and present, and decide between life, legacy, and family. 

Creed II opens in theaters on Thanksgiving.
