Building on his influence as a bodybuilding great and media personality, Shawn Ray announced the creation of Shawn Ray TV to meet the continuing demand for Ray’s personal take on bodybuilding news in real time.
“Through out my years travelling the world and reporting news and updates for other media outlets, I’ve resisted going behind the scenes to show the real nuts and bolts of how our sport operates because the higher ups didn’t think it was newsworthy,” Ray told Muscle Insider in an email. “No longer am I under obligation to what any remote editor in a cubicle thinks is news. The encounters and experiences of the sport’s leading men, women, and companies are what make our bodybuilding so great; they all have a story to tell. With the launch of Shawn Ray TV, I’m now at liberty to share what I see through my journey. I’m here to tell it like it is."
Shawn Ray TV will feature candid interviews with the stars of bodybuilding and fitness along with our sport’s sponsors, gym owners, product manufacturers, promoters, trainers, and more! But there will also be coverage of global events including not only the Mr. Olympia in Las Vegas but competitions and events in China, Italy, Poland, India, Japan, and others!
