The metaverse is a digital “world” that will allow you to strap on a virtual reality headset, 
log in and experience a complete digital world without leaving your house! If you’ve watched the movie Ready Player One, you know exactly what the possibilities of the metaverse are. And if you haven’t watched it, get on it now and you’ll understand what the heck this metaverse thing is! The metaverse is built using different types of technology, including virtual reality, augmented reality and video to create a digital “world” filled with famous buildings, resorts, sports cars, theme parks and more. Users can “live” within this digital universe any time they need an escape. Hard to imagine (we know), but people will be working, playing and staying connected with their friends in this world while experiencing everything from concerts to school classrooms, family visits and even virtual trips around the world. Muscle World – A Digital World for Bodybuilders
So you’ve got your virtual reality goggles on, you’ve slammed back an energy drink and you start travelling around the metaverse, checking out the sights. First stop is to see a digital replica of New York City, where you hit a lat spread in front of the Statue of Liberty. Next stop has you in Paris at the foot of a digital Eiffel Tower, where you take a romantic photo with your girlfriend (making sure to out-angle her, of course!). It’s almost 3 p.m. already, so you jump over to the Pyramids of Egypt for one last destination before you call it a day. All of this is great, but what if you could attend a bodybuilding contest or fitness expo, visit your favourite supplement store or hang with your favourite bodybuilder—all without leaving your house? 
Imagine a digital “land” inside the metaverse that was constructed just for bodybuilders! It would have your favourite bodybuilding-approved restaurants, gyms, supplement stores, beaches and pharmacies (okay, we had to throw that last one in!). Of course, all your favourite pros and fitness influencers would be right there, available to hang out and maybe even to sell you a piece of their exclusive NFT collection. This is exactly what a company is creating for bodybuilding and fitness fans in the metaverse, which they’re calling “Muscle World.” Remember this name because you’re going to be reading a lot more about Muscle World and how it will change bodybuilding as we know it.
