Monster Energy May Contain Pieces of Glass!

Monster Energy Canada Ltd. is recalling one of its energy drinks from the market. The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) says Monster’s Caffe Salted Caramel Energy Drink could contain glass fragments! The 405 ml drinks affected have best Best Before as follows: 

JA2120 BF A
JA2120 BF B
JA2220 BF A
JA2220 BF B

The UPC code to look for is "0 70847 03184 0" which were sold at stores across Canada. This recall was triggered by Monster Energy Canada Ltd. The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) is conducting a food safety investigation, which may lead to the recall of other products. If other high-risk products are recalled, the CFIA will notify the public through updated Food Recall Warnings. The CFIA is verifying that industry is removing recalled product from the marketplace. Fortunately, there have been no reported illnesses linked to the product that we know of, and consumers who have the drinks are urged to return them to the store where they were purchased or throw them out.
