Mike - The Situation - Sorrentino Is In Custody

Jersey Shore reality star Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino is officially in custody at Otisville Federal Prison in New York for tax evasion. After his eight-month sentence, he’ll have 24 months of supervised release and 500 hours of community service.

Mike married his longtime girlfriend, Lauren Pesce, just recently in November. Not exactly the honeymoon either of them were hoping for. 

Federal prison consultant Dan Wise told Radar Online that Sorrentino was caught bragging about his workout routine. But when it came time to step up in the yard, he couldn’t last ten minutes with the other inmates' workout. 

“Nobody inside is really bullying Mike, per se. He is getting teased a lot though because he is so full of himself. He is already being brought back down to size though, and he is holding his own. He is not really being rude to anyone and is just kind of like this goofy middle-aged dude who seems to be stuck in the '90s.”

Sorrentino is one of the original Jersey Shore cast members and has been with the reality show for all six seasons.
