Men's Physique Competitor Found Dead

In an eerily similar account to last week’s news of the passing of Daniele Pozzi, 23, from Varese Italy who was found lifeless in a hotel room, an Iranian physique competitor Shahab Beyranvand, 25, was also found dead in a hotel room in Tehran.

The cause of death has yet to be determined but initial reports suggest Shahabeither committed suicide by ingesting some pills (what those pills are is unknown) or he may have suffered from heart failure. We won’t know for sure until an autopsy is performed.

As in Daniele Pozzi’s case, Shahab was an up and coming competitor who had recently competed in a national competition in Tehran wherehe placed fourth. Many of his fans considered him to be a bright prospect referring to him as a genetic phenom.

We at Muscle Insider offer our deepest condolences to the friends and family of Shahab Beyranvand.
