Aside from the competitions onstage and on the platforms, fitness fans always anticipate announcements of athletes signing with new supplement brands or sponsors. We didn’t even get through the month of January before one was made, and it’s a big one.

BPI Sports, based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, announced on social media that they have signed the popular Larry Williams, better known as Larry Wheels to a partnership agreement. The formal announcement was made in a joint post on Instagram.

Whitney Reid, BPI’s Executive Vice President, shared his own statement on the big signing on Twitter.

“We are thrilled to partner with Larry Wheels and bring his unique vision for the fitness industry to life with the launch of his own supplement line. As one of the biggest fitness influencers in the game, Larry has inspired millions of people to reach their goals and become the best version of themselves. At BPI Sports, we are dedicated to helping athletes and fitness enthusiasts reach their dreams, and Larry Wheels is the perfect partner to help us do that.”

As a part of that agreement, BPI will help produce a supplement line, named after Wheels’ “PR Lifestyle” brand. The PR in this case stands for Personal Record, which Wheels became associated with after posting numerous videos displaying his feats of strength. He currently has 4 million followers on Instagram, and 2.6 million subscribers on YouTube.

This won’t be their first supplement line for an individual. They previously collaborated with Mike O’Hearn, who has his own Titan Approved line. They have also launched specific preworkout formulas and flavors for the likes of Method Man, Billy Gunn, and DJ Superstar Jay, among others. Wheels’ brand is set to launch in February 2023. Specific products weren’t mentioned on announced as of this writing.

Wheels made a name for himself as a powerlifter, and he has numerous world records to his credit. He also competed in the NPC as a men’s bodybuilder, earning National amateur status in 2018.

He has also stepped into the world of strongman, having trained with 2018 World’s Strongest Man Hafthor Bjornsson. In recent years, he was competing in international arm-wrestling contests, where he saw some success.

After spending time in Dubai, he recently returned to the US, living in California, and he has shifted his focus on physique development, leading some fans to speculate that he may return to bodybuilding in the future.

Prior to signing with BPI, Wheels, 28 years old, had been working on his PR brand independently. Before that, he was an athlete with MHP, who featured him prominently in various ad campaigns during his rise to success.
