It is with great sadness Muscle Insider reports the death of Mandy Blank (1976-2018). Reports indicate she was found unconscious in her bathtub on Oct. 30.

Mandy won the 1998 Debbie Kruck Classic and later that year earned her pro card by winning the NPC Nationals. The next year she was the then-youngest competitor ever to win the IFBB World Fitness Championships. She also placed 5th at the Arnold Classic that year.

Mandy later became a well-known, successful personal trainer in Los Angeles, catering to celebrities as she continued her success onstage. In 2014-15, the WBFF named her one of the world’s top Pro Diva Fitness Models.

On her website, Mandy said, “Fitness is my soul mate.”

Before getting into fitness, Mandy was a baton twirler who toured the world, and she was proclaimed Majorette Queen of America, the highest honor in the sport of baton twirling.
