Arrests Made In Steroid Trafficking Investigation
Between Wednesday, October 20, 2020 and Thursday, October 21, 2020 investigators from #2 District Property Crime, York Regional Police executed search warrants at two addresses in the City of Richmond Hill and a third in the City of Vaughan in the province of Ontario, Canada.
An estimated street value in excess of $400,000 was seized. A large quantity of anabolic steroids, other performance enhancing drugs and controlled substances were seized. As well, a Mercedes Benz sedan and $30,000 cash were seized as proceeds of crime.
York Regional Police has arrested and charged two men and a woman in connection with an anabolic steroid trafficking ring in the City of Richmond Hill.
Charged was a man from Richmond Hill, Ontario
Charges Include:
- Trafficking in a Schedule IV Substance (anabolic steroids)
- Possession of a Schedule IV Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking
- Exporting a Schedule IV Substance
- Possession of a Schedule I Substance (Oxycodone)
- Possession of a Schedule I Substance (Cocaine)
- Possession Proceeds of Crime
A second man from Richmond Hill was charged with the following:
- Trafficking in a Schedule IV Substance (anabolic steroids)
- Possession of a Schedule IV Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking
- Exporting a Schedule IV Substance
Charged is a female of the City of Vaughan
Charges include:
- Trafficking in a Schedule IV Substance (anabolic steroids)
- Possession of a Schedule IV Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking
