The Arnold Amateur NPC International Bodybuilding, Fitness, Figure, Bikini & Physique Championships, already one of the world's largest amateur bodybuilding competitions, will grow even larger with the addition of the Wellness Division.

Wellness, a newly-created division now recognized by the National Physique Committee and the IFBB Pro League, will be held at the Arnold Amateur for the first time in 2020 and will be the first pro qualifier in the United States with the overall winner earning IFBB Pro League status.

"We are excited to add Wellness in 2020 as we believe it will grow into one of the sport's most popular divisions in coming years," said Mike Davies, Arnold Amateur co-promoter. "Our goal for the Arnold Amateur has always been to encourage and provide an opportunity for as many athletes as possible and this new division opens the NPC and IFBB Pro League to even more competitors."

The 2020 Arnold Amateur NPC International Bodybuilding, Fitness, Figure, Bikini & Physique Championships will be held Thursday, March 5-Saturday, March 7 at the Greater Columbus Convention Center in Columbus, Ohio as part the annual Arnold Sports Festival.

All overall winners and top two in Men's Physique and Bikini earn pro cards to compete in the IFBB Pro League. Overall winners in Men's Bodybuilding, Fitness, Figure and Bikini earn invitations to compete in the Arnold Classic and related IFBB Pro League contests at the 2021 Arnold Sports Festival.
