According to the Official Facebook page for the Arnold Classic Asia:

We write to inform you that the Arnold Sports Festival Asia has been postponed until 2018.
With your support, our first Festival last year was fantastic and in building on that success we are taking extra time to implement new systems to underpin our long-term vision.

We will advise dates for 2018 as soon as possible.
We thank you for your ongoing support in our journey to promote lifelong health and fitness.

And on the Arnold Classic Australia page, we saw the following:

As some of you may have seen over the weekend the 2017 Arnold Classic Asia was postponed for the year due to unforeseen circumstances. While this is terrible new for all the athletes who had plans of competing there we come bearing good news for our local strongman and strongwomen. URSUS Fitness have committed to running an Arnold Strongman qualifier for the Asia region on the 19th and 20th of August the same weekend the Arnold's Asia was scheduled for.

All competitors who qualified for the Arnold's Asia will be invited to compete with information regarding the events and weights to be announced later this week.

If you have any questions about the competition you can direct them our way or check out Ursus Fitness for more updates as they come.

No details have been given exactly why the event was cancelled for the year, but as updates come, check out social media pages for more information
