Arnold To Attend San Diego Comic-Con
Arnold Schwarzenegger will take part in the Paramount/Skydance’s Terminator: Dark Fate panel at San Diego Comic-Con on Thursday, July 18 as reported by The Hollywood Reporter. As with most of these events, fans in attendance will hopefully be treated to some new footage from the upcoming blockbuster. That’s good news for Arnie fans who were disappointed to the limited footage and zero dialogue from the famed action hero icon in the film’s first big movie trailer.
Aside from the Austrian Oak, it is rumoured that many of his co-stars—including Linda Hamilton, Natalia Reyes, Mackenzie Davis, Gabriel Luna, and Diego Boneta, along with director Tim Miller (of Deadpool fame)—will be joining the panel to field questions from press and the fans.
It should be noted that Terminator: Dark Fate is set to be a direct sequel to The Terminator and Terminator 2: Judgement Day. This new film will completely ignore the three films that came in between (Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines, Terminator Salvation and Terminator Genisys) and pick up after the events of James Cameron’s T2. Cameron also makes his return to the franchise as both co-writer and producer. As you remember, Cameron also has formerly teamed with Arnold on True Lies and has stated in an interview with Flicks and the City, he wouldn’t do this new Terminator film without Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Terminator: Dark Fate is slated to hit theatres on November 1st, 2019.
