Ninety year old cyclist Carl Grove won the 90 to 94 age group in the US Masters Track National Championships. After the race, he signed a few autographs for the ladies, pissed in a jar for his drug test and watched some Three Stooges reruns. When the test results came in, Carl was stripped of the title after testing positive for the metabolite epitrenbolone according to the US Anti-Doping Agency (USADA). But apparently the positive test may have been caused by contaminated meat eaten the night before the race! Give us some of that meat Carl, please! USADA said Grove, who was also found to be using a “supplement” contaminated with Clomiphene (Clomid). We’ll take some of that too Carl! As a punishment, had accepted a public warning for violating anti-doping laws. Epitrenbolone is a metabolite of Trenbolon, which is prohibited by USADA.

USADA released the following statement on its website:

“USADA announced today that Carl Grove, of Bristol, Ind., an athlete in the sport of cycling, has accepted a public warning for his anti-doping rule violations.” “Grove, 90, tested positive for epitrenbolone, which is a metabolite of the prohibited substance trenbolone, as the result of an in-competition urine sample he provided on July 11, 2018 after setting a world record at the Masters Track National Championships. While investigating the source of his positive test, it was also determined that a supplement Grove was using prior to July 11, 2018 was contaminated with clomiphene.”
