Is Sergi Constance The Most Recognizable Name in Fitness?

Not yet 30, Sergi Constance is the world’s most recognizable face of fitness today.

We probably don’t need to introduce MUSCLE INSIDER readers to cover model Sergi Constance, one of the most recognizable faces of fitness today. A native of Spain, Sergi now resides part-time in Los Angeles and has already parlayed his striking looks into a Hollywood role as Zeus in last year’s blockbuster Justice League. Sergi, who has now appeared on three MIcovers, competed in the Men’s Physique Mr. Olympia last September. He reaches the milestone age of 30 this October.

MI: We’ve never seen a photo of you in which you’re out of shape. Does one even exist?

Sergi: I try to stay in an aesthetic condition year round so I can be ready for an appearance or a competition without much struggle. It takes me only three or four weeks to be contest ready. What’s funny is that people are amazed how much food I eat and how many cheat meals I eat, but I’m very active, so I’m expending all the calories I consume. That’s important.

MI: How many covers have you done?

Sergi: About 20. I’m especially proud of the covers from far off places like Korea, China, South Africa, Dubai, and many other European and South American countries. It’s an honour to represent this lifestyle in so many different countries and cultures.

MI: You seem to have already achieved so much in terms of goals. Have you set higher ones?

Sergi: I must admit I’m so proud of what I’ve achieved because it represents the hard work I’ve put in. As for future plans, I’d be more than happy to share with you some of those projects I’m working on, but honestly I can’t. You can always follow me on social media, and you’ll get the news as soon as I can release it.

MI: Tell us a little about the private Sergi, the side of you the public never gets to see.

Sergi: The public never gets to see, I think, my personality.My facial expression is pretty serious, especially in photos. But it’s not like I’m angry or serious all the time; I like to laugh and have a good time. If you don’t know me, it’s easy to see how I come off as serious or arrogant. I also really like extreme sports, but because of my sports career, I’ve stopped practicing them to avoid possible injury. I’m passionate about cars and motorcycles.

MI: Any pet peeves we should know about?

Sergi: Yeah, if I’ve done my hair, don’t mess it up!
