Marc Lobliner Set to Make IFBB Pro League Debut at Toronto Pro

By:
Roger “Rock” Lockridge

Marc “The Machine” Lobliner is a popular figure in the bodybuilding and fitness space. The longtime bodybuilder, coach, and supplement executive has been a mainstay in the industry for several years. He’s best known for his YouTube channel and social media presence, where he documents his life with family, training, and business with Outright Bar, MTS Nutrition, and Tiger Fitness.

Lobliner is also now an IFBB Pro League bodybuilder, thanks to his victory in the Over 40 Heavyweight victory at the 2021 NPC Masters USA contest. Lobliner had decided to put that pro card to good use because he’s currently preparing to step onstage at the 2023 Toronto Pro on June 4th.

On April 14th, Lobliner shared a progress photo that was taken during a training session in Loveland, Ohio. You can see the photo for yourself below.

Lobliner appears to be ripped and prepared for the final stages of his pro debut. At a bodyweight of 210 pounds at this point in the prep, Lobliner will likely be competing in the 212 division. He also shared details about his prep in the caption of the pic.

“7 weeks out from the Toronto Pro. Told y’all I ain’t playin’. 210lbs and harder than I’ve ever been. @theebostonmass knows what works for me!”

That tag in the statement was for legendary 212 bodybuilding great Jose Raymond, who is working as Lobliner’s prep coach for this contest. He’s also not backing off on the business or family fronts, sharing that he’s been traveling every week, coaching clients, and parenting his kids when he’s home, and working hard to make an impressive debut in Toronto.

“June 4 - time to bring something special to the great white north,” he wrote.

If he were to enter and win that contest, it would add his name to a list of champions that include Hossein Kalateh (2022), Douglas Connor (2021), and even Raymond himself, who took the 212 title in 2013. It would also qualify Lobliner for the 2023 Olympia in Orlando, FL on the weekend of Nov. 2nd through 5th. Lobliner used to be a mainstay fixture at the big shows like the Olympia, only it was at his booths for the companies he worked with. This would be his first time competing on that stage. Anything is possible in the IFBB Pro League, so don’t count him out. His presence in the contest alone may garner a lot of attention from fans in Canada and beyond.
