The 2024 Toronto Pro SuperShow, scheduled for the weekend of June 8th and 9th, is quickly approaching. As the march to the big event continues, we are finding out more names that are going to be in the big event. Among those already confirmed to compete include IFBB Figure Pro Emily Hammond, IFBB Classic Physique pro Gregory Dawson, and IFBB Men’s Open Bodybuilding Pro Robin Strand, who finished fourth in the 2023 contest. We have now received confirmation that another Men’s Open competitor will join the lineup.

Hassan Mostafa recently announced on Instagram that he will return to Ontario and compete in the 2024 edition or promoter Ron Hache’s big event. Mostafa shared the post below of his 2023 showing.

“2.5 weeks to do it all again!!!”

Mostafa made his first appearance in the Toronto Pro SuperShow in 2023 and came in second place behind champion Iain Valliere, who retired later in the 2023 season. Mostafa would eventually go across Canada to win the Vancouver Pro to secure his trip to the 2023 Mr. Olympia, where he would finish in 11th place.

This will be Mostafa’s first appearance of the 2024 season, and at this point, he should be considered a top contender to win the contest. Throughout his five-year career, he has won three shows – the 2022 Orlando Pro, 2022 Puerto Rico Pro, and that Vancouver Pro last season. He shared in another post that he also intends to defend his Vancouver Pro title. There are very few pros that have won both of Canada’s Men’s Open titles in their career. To do it in the same season would be extraordinary and give Mostafa a lot of momentum going into the 2024 Mr. Olympia in Las Vegas, NV on Oct. 11th and 12th.

Mostafa is usually one of the larger men in the lineup. Based on recent check-ins, he is working hard to show the conditioning to match. If he can maximize that aspect with the dense muscle he already has, it will be tough to deny him the victory and Olympia qualification.

We are sure to see more pros announce their entry in the Toronto Pro SuperShow as the countdown continues, and the official competitor list will be released next week. Who do you want to see hop in the 10-division show? Let us know on Instagram by following @muscleinsider.
