Ashley Kaltwasser Wins 2024 Optimum Classic Pro

By:
Roger "Rock" Lockridge

Over a decade after she entered the IFBB Pro League, Ashley Kaltwasser has cemented herself as a legend in the bodybuilding and fitness world. Kaltwasser has won three Bikini Olympia titles, two Bikini International championships, and she is the all-time winningest athlete in any division, which now sits at 45 victories after her win at the 2024 Optimum Classic Pro. For perspective on how far ahead she is, the second-most wins are 29 by 2008 Mr. Olympia Dexter Jackson, who retired in 2020. There have been many discussions about the “G.O.A.T.” in bodybuilding, but Kaltwasser pretty much has the Bikini division recognition locked down.

The Ohio native earned her most recent win in Shreveport, Louisiana on May 25th, and she was dominant in her performance against eight other athletes, including runner-up Sierra Swann and rising star Luciana Santos. Kaltwasser made her fans happy by bringing back her famous green outfit for the stage, which was met with approval from the fans watching it live as well. She made them even happier by making it clear this was not the last time she would see them.

“I cannot wait to be back next year…I’m just getting started.” – Ashley Kaltwasser

This was her second victory of the season in her fourth show. Oh yeah, she is also coming off eye surgery she had in the offseason. What makes Kaltwasser’s career even more impressive is that she is still holding her own on the big stages. She was third at the 2023 Bikini Olympia, which qualified her for the 2024 contest automatically. It’s not like she is nitpicking small shows to rack up these victories. She is still one of the best in the world in her 13th pro season.

Kaltwasser has not announced her next show yet, but we are confident she will step onstage again before the Olympia. Do you think she can make it to 50 wins this year?

Other Optimum Classic Pro Show Results

There were five other divisions featured at the Optimum Classic Pro as well, and each division saw a champion crowned. The winners are below.

Men’s Physique – Alexander Toplyn

Women’s Physique – Natalia Bystrova

Figure – Madison Dinges

Wellness – Chen Qi Liu

Classic Physique – Eric Lisboa

Classic Physique winner Eric Lisboa was already qualified for the Olympia thanks to his win earlier in the month at the Pittsburgh Pro. Because of that, no qualification was awarded in the Classic Physique show. The other four champions needed the Olympia qualification and earned them by taking the win in Shreveport. They can now keep competing in other shows or focus on Olympia, which is set for Oct. 11-12 in Las Vegas, NV.
