By:
Roger "Rock" Lockridge

The anticipation for the 2022 Arnold Classic is coming down the home stretch. The competitors that have been invited to compete are in the final stages of their preps and hope to be their all-time best. One winner from each of the eight divisions will be crowned champion of the second biggest show in bodybuilding. In this portion of the predictions, we'll be covering the Fitness Division.

2022 Arnold Classic Fitness International Competitors

Jaclyn Baker (USA)

Amanda Ciani (USA)

Kate Errington (United Kingdom)Ariel Khadr (USA)

Sara Kovach (USA)

Allison Kramer (USA)

Minna Pajulahti (Finland)

Missy Truscott (Canada)

Aurika Tyrgale (Russia)

Tamara Vahn (Canada)

Two-time defending champion Missy Truscott is coming off a rare loss at the 2021 Olympia, where Whitney Jones claimed her third career title. She is on the hunt for redemption and Columbus is almost considered a home game for her thanks to her connection to her late coach, John Meadows. Ariel Khadr is a decorated champion herself, but she’s never won the Arnold or the Olympia. The same could be said for Olympia fifth place finisher Jaclyn Baker. Truscott being extra motivated will put her over the top to take the title in Columbus, and that will set her on the path to a rematch with Jones in Las Vegas this coming December.
