2023 Orlando Pro Predictions
The next qualifying position for the 2023 Mr. Olympia contest will be determined in the Sunshine State. The 2023 Orlando Pro is the show in question, and it will take place on Saturday, July 1st in the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida. If that building is familiar to you, then it’s for good reason, because that is also the site for the 2023 Olympia Weekend itself on Nov. 2nd through 5th.
As for the Orlando Pro, the only division that will be featured is the Men’s Open, and as of June 26th, 13 IFBB Pro League competitors will be ready to pose down and clinch the Olympia qualification at the end of the evening. None of the men in this lineup are qualified for the Olympia as of yet. Take a look at the full lineup before we break down the favorites and make some predictions.

- DeVon Cause
- Phil Clahar

Favorites
The name that may be the most recognizable is Hassan Mostafa. The man from Egypt is the defending champion of this contest, having won the contest in 2022. He’s also had the most success overall as a pro out of all the men in the lineup. He was 13th in the 2021 Mr. Olympia, and he won two shows in 2022. The other was the Puerto Rico Pro. He already competed once this season, finishing second to Iain Valliere at the Toronto Pro SuperShow. If everything goes as expected, then Mostafa should take the win.
The other man in this lineup with Olympia experience is Mohammad Alnsoor of Jordan. The 2022 Monsterzym Pro winner made it onto bodybuilding’s biggest stage in 2022, but he finsihed outside of the top 15. Considering he is in his third pro season now, he has a lot of upside and can build on that early success by winning here.
Dark Horse Contenders
While those two men are likely for the first callout, they will be joined by at least two or three other men. One of those men could be Stan de Longeaux, also known as “Stanimal.” He started as a Classic Physique competitor, but he’s now in the Open, and in a lineup like this, he could find himself in a first callout as well as a final callout if his conditioning is on point.
Another man to watch for is Phil Clahar. He’s old enough to compete in the Masters Olympia, as he will in the 2023 show in Romania this August, but he’s been in the mix at multiple shows in his career. He was third in this contest one year ago, and he placed second to Valliere in the 2021 Tampa Pro. If Mostafa is off and Clahar is on, anything can happen.
Predictions
Keep in mind that other men are eligible to enter this show up until the athlete’s meeting takes place, but if no one else jumps into this lineup, then we think it will come down to Mostafa and Alnsoor with Mostafa’s size being the difference. Our top five predictions are below.
- Hassan Mostafa
- Mohammad Alnsoor
- Phil Clahar
- Stan de Longeauz
- Chris DiDomenico
