2023 Olympia Predictions - Mens Divisions

If you’re like us, then you’re ready for the 2023 Olympia to go down in Orlando, Florida on Nov. 2-5, but we have one last piece of business to take care of first. We already gave our women’s predictions, but we still have our crystal ball out to make our picks for the men’s side of the stage. You can see all five rosters for these contests here. Now, check out who we think will leave Orlando as world champions.

Mr. Olympia

Derek Lunsford and Hadi Choopan held the top two positions one year ago, and we think they will do the same here. However, we think they will swap positions. If Derek Lunsfor wins, it will be historic because he would be the first man to win the Olympia in two open divisions. We’re calling it now. History will be made in Orlando, and we have an 18th Mr. Olympia. We also see Choopan and Samson Dauda are going to be in the top three.

  1. Derek Lunsford
  2. Hadi Choopan
  3. Samson Dauda

Olympia 212

In a matter of a few years, Shaun Clarida has went from a David to a Goliath. He has won two of the last three Olympia 212 titles, and in our eyes, he will take his third title in Orlando, Angel Calderon Frias and Keone Pearson are going to make it a very interesting show, but the Giant Killer will reign once again in the 212.

  1. Shaun Clarida
  2. Angel Calderon Frias
  3. Keone Pearson

Classic Physique Olympia

Is there any doubt who we’re picking for Classic Physique. Chris Bumstead is on the drive for five, and we see him taking it. In fact, we’re calling for both of the top two in 2022 to keep their positions. The big difference we see is for third. Terrence Ruffin was off the mark in Las Vegas last year, but he won’t be in Orlando.

  1. Chris Bumstead
  2. Ramon Rocha Querioz
  3. Terrence Ruffin

Men’s Physique Olympia

There is a lot of drama going into the Men’s Physique Olympia because reigning champ Erin Banks was beaten by Kyron Holden at the Legion Sports Fest. Past winners Brandon Hendrickson and Jeremy Buendia are also in the lineup. This could be the closest contest of all, but we think Banks will correct his past mistakes and leave Florida with title number two in the bag.

  1. Erin Banks
  2. Brandon Hendrickson
  3. Kyron Holden

Wheelchair Olympia

There’s Harold Kelley, and then there’s everyone else. The only champion in Wheelchair Olympia history will stay that way after next weekend. We believe that he is going to take win number six on game day.

  1. Harold Kelley
  2. Antoni Khadraoui
  3. Gabriele Andruilli
