After last year's show in Mumbai, India’s largest health & fitness extravaganza ‘Sheru Classic Health & Fitness Expo’ is back with a bang. The Expo, which will be held in Delhi on 5th & 6th October as a part of Sheru Classic Delhi 2012, will witness participation from over 70 Indian and international fitness equipment, health food supplementation and sportswear brands! Sheru Classic Health & Fitness Expo will offer a unique business and networking platform to professionals in the fitness industry. 

MUSCLE INSIDER magazine will be in attendence to provide media coverage of this important global bodybuilding event. Jay Cutler, George Farah, Amrit Dhaliwal, Amanda Doherty and Dr. Randhir Hastir, will also be holding seminars covering important aspects of fitness such as ‘How to become a Professional Bodybuilder’, ‘Basic Components of Food’, ‘Post Pregnancy Weight Loss’ and ‘Role of Steroids and Anabolic Enhancers in Sports’. Fitness sessions will also be conducted at the Beach Body Zone at the Expo by some of these fitness gurus wherein they will share workout techniques and tips.

The event is being organized by Mumbai-based Sheru Classic Production Pvt. Ltd. which is the brainchild of India’s second Professional Bodybuilder Mr. Sheru Aangrish and his elder brother Mr. Hemant Aangrish.

Sheru Aangrish said, “Although the fitness industry in our country is growing at a tremendous rate of 30%, there is a huge lack of knowledge about even the basics of fitness as well as sports supplements. Through this event, we are trying to bridge this knowledge gap and provide a platform to all those fitness enthusiasts who would like to lead a healthy and fit life and are looking at guidance on how to achieve their goals in the right manner”.

A special treat is in store for fans as the world’s top professional bodybuilders and figure athletes like Phil Heath, Kai Green, Ben White, Nicole Wilkins, Erin Stern and Heather Dees will be interacting with their fans at the two-day long fitness event. All these athletes will be in India to participate in the Sheru Classic Professional Championship, the world’s third largest and Asia’s only Professional Bodybuilding Championship, being held in the evening of 6th October at the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium.

Sports Nutrition Seminars

Celebrity Chefs and Nutritionists would be conducting informative sessions on topics including ‘Interesting ways to use day-to-day ingredients to create healthy dishes’, ‘Learning to identify the healthier options whilst eating-out’ as well as ‘Healthy tips and tricks to use in the kitchen’. On the ‘Sports’ side of things, qualified nutritionists would be sharing tips on pre, during and post workout snacks as well as identifying the key ingredients that will enhance sport performance.

Model Search

Hemant & Sheru Aangrish’s dream to transform the nation through a fitness revolution has resulted in a Male Model aearch also being conducted at the event. This competition will aim to bring in the limelight those fitness enthusiasts who have built a perfect physique through sheer hard work and dedication. The winner of the Male Model Search will not only win a cash prize of Rs. 50,000/- but will also feature in leading international trade media - Muscular Development and Flex Online. The legendary IFBB Professional Athlete Jay Cutler will be on the judging panel for the competition and the contest winner will become the Health and Fitness Ambassador for Sheru Classic Production.
