The Last Of A Shot
Q. Dan, when I do a shot (of my vitamin B-12 of course) there's always a little bit left in the syringe that I can’t inject. It drives me crazy! Am I doing something wrong?
A: I asked around to some of the top guys in the industry (I won't mention names to save their careers) and they all use air to push that last little bit of vitamin B12 (in this case) through when they're injecting it! Yes air! What they do is load their syringe and then pull back the plunger to get a tiny bit of air into the barrel. Next they’ll point the needle down and tap the barrel so that the tiny air bubble floats up to the back to the plunger. Keeping the needle pointing downward (and the air bubble upwards) they’ll inject their vitamin B12 using correct injection procedures. By doing it this way the air bubble will push the last little bit of juice vitamin B12 though the needle and there won’t be any waste. Of course I’m just here to tell you what the "other guys" are doing and if you choose to adopt this method you would be doing so at your own risk. But vitamin B12 taken orally is much less hassle!
