Cutting With Clenbuterol
QUESTION: Dan, I heard that clenbuterol is the best drug for cutting. Is it legal in Canada?
ANSWER: In Canada, clenbuterol is a prescription drug so you shouldn’t be able to purchase it at your local supplement shop. “Clen” is only available for horses and is not intended for human consumption (in Canada). If you were able to take a peak in your friendly country vet’s medicine cabinet you would see a product named Ventipulmin Syrup which is manufactured by Boehringer-Ingelheim. Ventipulmin is a thick liquid that is dispensed onto equine feed from a pump bottle (kinda gives a new meaning to the phrase “Pump it up”). I’ve also seen compounding pharmacies make clenbuterol syrup for vets but the chance of seeing this version on the underground market is as likely as Lee Priest hitting the competitive stage again. Now, before you go out and strap a saddle to your back you should know that clenbuterol is probably one of the biggest sellers for UG (underground) labs. Everyone uses it – bodybuilders, figure girls, bikini girls, strippers – so it is a BIG seller. The most common form available on the underground scene would be 40 mcg capsules (Ventipulmin is available in 25 mcg/mg) and is also available in liquid form. As with any UG product quality control should be a concern but you will know if it is working after your first dose. Most users will split the cap in half, divide the contents evenly and start with ½ a cap to assess tolerance levels. Most (if not all) “assisted” competitors use clenbuterol so getting it shouldn’t be difficult. Just be aware that if you are caught with the UG caps you won’t be able to tell the police officer you are just holding it for your friend Trigger.
