Differences between Men and women

Q: Can both men and women expect to see the same results if you put them on the same weight-training circuit geared for fat loss?

Typically, no. Men generally have the biological advantage in terms of eliciting their bodies to burn fat based on differences in resting metabolic rates, hormones, etc. However, this doesn’t mean that they’re going to have the same agility or intensity that females bring to a circuit-style program. I’ve seen tons of women leaving guys in the dust in those types of training sessions. Metabolism, age, gender—none of them really matter if you’re bringing the fire to your training
