Leah Berti

IFBB Pro

IFBB Pro Leah Berti started her path into fitness and training as a Varsity Track athlete and a high level volleyball player. From a very young age, she always had a passion for lifting weights and continually challenging herself, setting high expectations and goals.

Leah’s excitement for the gym eventually lead her to her first competition at the age of 19, a rookie in the sport however a natural onstage; winning her class and the overall as one of the
youngest lightweight bodybuilders in her very first competition. The rest is history. Leah fell in love with competing and has not looked back for the past 9 years; starting off as a lightweight bodybuilder and then progressing to find her niche in the sport of Figure, where after years of hard work and dedication she achieved her IFBB Pro Card at the 2011 Canadian Natural Nationals in Montreal by winning her class and the Overalls. This was a great honor for Leah, since in Canada there are only 2 pro cards given out in a year.

Below is a photo of Leah Bert on stage in 2014 at the Toronto Pro Supershow.

Leah Studied Kinesiology and Business at University. She is considered to be an energetic personal trainer, making it her mission to inspire others and help future athletes reach their full potential. Leah is also a city Police Officer. She competed in the 2011 World Police and Fire Games in New York (Volleyball) and the 2013 WPFG in Belfast, Ireland (Dragon Boat). As a way to give back to the sport, Leah is on the cabinet the for the Alberta Bodybuilding Association (ABBA) volunteering much of her free time helping grow the sport in Alberta. Still young in the professional scene, Leah has high hopes for her IFBB career. Her focus is to gain experience, make continual improvements at each show and to one day stand on the Arnold and Olympia Stage.

To keep balance in her life she enjoys travelling the world, recreational volleyball, snowboards in the winter and wakeboards in the summer. Leah believes that having balance is key to longevity and continual passion in the sport.
