Why did you decide to start making healthy recipes?
My love for both desserts and living a fit life inspired me to explore the healthy twist in culinary art. By creating simple recipes and sharing them on social media, I hoped to inspire someone and add something both impactful and positive to their life.
What do you think is the reason #CleanEating is so popular?
Social media has a huge role in creating a trend, and luckily for this generation, health awareness is a new trend and fit is the new skinny!
What is your greatest success or transformation story in the health/fitness industry?
Being a fitness competitor, I disliked the extreme change in diet between on-season and off-season. I wanted to create a lifestyle that is sustainable all year round, and it’s for life, not just for few competitions or so! So now I live a life through clean eating and training that is more sustainable long term than having huge fluctuations.
Why do you think you can rep Optimum Nutrition like a boss? What do you love about the brand?
When I first started competing, finding that quality protein brand that also has creative flavours was hard, until I came across Optimum Nutrition products and got hooked. I can make some really fun shakes and recipes with their protein.
Why should YOU be Canada’s Best Protein Chef?
I will be Canada’s best protein chef because I can make healthy food so tasty that you won’t believe it’s healthy.
What is your favourite Optimum Nutrition product and why?
Amino Energy in Mocha Cappuccino, Coffee, and Salted Caramel. They are my “to die for” flavours, because I can make the best frappuccino with those flavours.
