Optimum Nutrition Brings Virtual Reality Gym to Arnold Sports Festival 2019

Company:
Optimum Nutrition

At this year’s Arnold’s Sports Festival Expo, you can expect to see a game changer in the booth experience when you visit the Optimum Nutrition booth. The booth will have a virtual reality gym competition. The VR gym experience will pit attendees against each other in a friendly competition for who can do the most curls and squats for prizes. We are very excited to get a hands-on experience to try out this virtual reality gym.

Participants in this virtual reality gym, will wear VR glasses and will be transported to the Optimum Nutrition branded gym. The competition will consist of doing the most curls and squats in 30 seconds, for a chance at winning some pretty sweet prizes!

Optimum Nutrition recently posted an article, that gives mention to a University of Kent study, which is published in the Journal of Psychology of Sport and Exercise. This study found a drastic reduction in the perception of pain while wearing virtual reality goggles. Other studies have been performed that have also concluded that wearing virtual reality goggles can even reduce the perception of pain in patients with chronic pain.

What else can you experience at the Optimum Nutrition booth?

If a virtual reality gym is not enough, Optimum Nutrition will have a lot more activities going on for you to get the full ON experience. They will be sampling many of their popular products, such as their new Cookies and Cream Cakes Bites and Protein Almonds, Gold Standard Isolate, Gold Standard Whey, Amino Energy RTD, Gold Standard Plant and Protein Wafers.

Expect to see a full line-up of athletes at the booth as well, with names like; Bayan Sharafi, winner of our Muscle Insider’s Best Protein Chef.
