Core Nutritionals ABCD Sweet Tea - Preview

Company:
Core Nutritionals

Core Nutritionals is a brand headed up by the husband and wife team of Doug Miller, drug-free pro bodybuilder, and his wife Stephanie Miller, drug-free pro figure competitor. Doug’s background in biochemistry allows him to focus on producing a product line using the highest quality and most effective ingredients, that are proven to work. They are a company that performs third-party testing on all its products at both the ingredient stage, as well as the finished manufacturing stage, so you can be sure to know what they label says, is what’s actually in the bottle.

The most recent addition to their line-up, is the new flavour Core Nutritionals ABCD Sweet Tea. This adds to their existing flavours of ABCD, which are; Australian Gummy Snakes, White Grape, White Mango, and White Pineapple Strawberry. We know that amino acids with an energy component combined are becoming very common in the market, but this isn’t your average BCAA. The 300g bottle, will give you 30 servings, with each scoop weighing 10g.

Core Nutritionals ABCD Sweet Tea Formula:

This formula starts out with your standard 2:1:1 ratio of BCAAs, with 2500mg L-Leucine, 1250mg L-Isoleucine, and 1250mg L-valine. Add in the 100mg of Caffeine and you would think this is where we come to the end of the line with ingredients, but we’re just getting started. You see, the name ABCD refers to Amino Acids, Beta-Alanine, Carnitine and Drive.

Things start to get exciting when you see the addition of 1600mg of Beta Alanine, 500mg Acetyl-L-Carnitine to help with fatty acid and carbohydrate metabolism, 500mg N-Acetyl-Tyrosine and even 500mg Choline Bitartrate, which helps improve cognitive function and overall brain health.

One thing that is curious, is how many people ask why there is only 1600mg of Beta Alanine, when so many studies report that you need much higher doses to be effective. If you think about it though, this is a BCAA product we are talking about here, so including Beta Alanine is going above and beyond already. In addition, Doug and his team at Core Nutritionals considers that most users of ABCD are going to be consuming this multiple times throughout the day and most likely stacking it with one of their pre-workout products when they train, which also has Beta Alanine in that.
