Allmax MCT Oil - Preview

Company:
Allmax

MCT oils have medium-length chains of fats called triglycerides. These fats are found in foods such as palm oil and dairy products, but are most often extracted from coconut oil. The new Allmax MCT Oil is derived 100 percent from coconut oil, as more than 50 percent of the fat in coconut oil comes from MCTs. Because of these shorter chains of triglycerides, MCT oil is easily digested by the body as they travel straight from the gut to the liver, without the need for bile to break down like longer chain fats do.

Because these MCTs can easily absorb into the body’s cells without being broken down, they can be used as an instant source of energy. MCT oil can work well for those following a ketogenic diet, as the MCTs are able to convert to ketones while in the liver. Even if you aren’t on a keto diet, supplementing with Allmax MCT Oil can help prevent blood sugar spikes during times of high carb intake, as it is able to trick the body into continuing to use ketones as apposed to carbs as a source of energy.

Each bottle of Allmax MCT Oil has a total of 16 ounces, and each serving has 15 millilitres of MCT oil, providing 15 grams of total fat. This is 14.6 grams of medium-chain triglycerides, consisting of a 60:40 blend of 8.8 grams of C8 (caprylic acid) and 5.8 grams of C10 (capric acid).
