Nathan De Asha Deals With Vision Threating Eye Infection

Print Share this

There’s been various reports on Nathan De Asha’s rare eye infection, but the good news is he seems to be on the road to recovery. According to sources, he caught the infection just in time before it threatened the full loss of vision in his left eye as he was down to 20% vision. It got so bad that it affected his optic nerve. He has been put on a cock-tale of antibiotics and anti-inflammatories as well as cold compressions every couple of hours before he goes into surgery to drain the remainder of the bacteria filled fluid. Determined to continue with his contest prep, all this has not stopped him from going to the gym as he gets driven to and from. According to an interview with Ron Harris, he’s keeping his calories high to help maintain the gains. For the full interview, see below. He’s expected to make a full recovery and continue with his contest prep on route to the 2019 Olympia as originally planned.

Good luck Nathan from your friends at Muscle Insider. We look forward to seeing you on stage soon.
