A Limited-Edition Madness Flavor Created for the 2026 Olympia

Las Vegas has never been known for subtlety, making it a fitting backdrop for the latest addition to the MUTANT Madness lineup.

Ahead of the 2026 Olympia, MUTANT has introduced Madness Sin City Sangria, a limited-edition flavor created specifically for bodybuilding’s biggest weekend. The new release takes the current high-stimulant Madness formula and gives it a Vegas-inspired identity that stands apart from the more traditional fruit flavors typically associated with pre-workouts.

Sin City Sangria is being released as part of MUTANT’s Olympia promotion and, according to the brand, is a limited run rather than a permanent addition to the Madness lineup. The launch runs from September 17 through October 16, 2026, or while supplies last, with availability in the United States and Canada.

Sin City Sangria: Made for Olympia 2026

The name leaves little doubt about the inspiration. MUTANT developed Sin City Sangria specifically around the 2026 Olympia in Las Vegas, tying the new flavor directly to an event that has become one of the biggest weekends on the bodybuilding calendar.

The flavor is also featured in MUTANT’s Olympia VIP Bundle alongside Creatine Bytz Blue Razz and several commemorative items. For anyone who misses out on the Olympia VIP Bundle, Sin City Sangria is also available as a standalone tub of Madness while supplies last through the official MUTANT online store.

Rather than a conventional addition to the permanent Madness lineup, Sin City Sangria has been positioned as a limited release built specifically around this year’s Olympia. Once the run is gone, the brand says the flavor goes with it.

What Does Sin City Sangria Taste Like?

With a name like Sin City Sangria, MUTANT has set a pretty clear expectation for the flavor. After getting our hands on a sample ahead of the Olympia, we were finally able to put it to the test.

Muscle Insider Publisher Andrew Bukowsky summed up his first impression with a little Olympia enthusiasm:

“It tastes like winning the Mr. Olympia contest! Okay, maybe I can’t personally confirm what that tastes like, but this Olympia Special Edition will take me right back to the show every time I use it. As for the actual flavor, it really does have a sangria vibe. You get red grape up front, followed by other fruit notes as you drink it down. It reminds me very much of a red sangria, which makes the whole Sin City theme work even better.”

Red grape is the clearest first impression, but the flavor doesn’t stay one-dimensional as you continue drinking it. The additional fruit notes give Sin City Sangria the layered quality its name suggests, rather than tasting like a conventional grape-flavored pre-workout.

That makes the Vegas theme feel like more than a packaging exercise. The flavor inside the shaker genuinely connects with the Sin City concept on the outside of the tub.

The Madness Formula

Sin City Sangria changes the flavor, but the foundation remains the current MUTANT Madness formula. A full serving comes in at 9 grams and is built around a 4,000 mg Performance & Pump Blend and a 515 mg Caffeine & Energy Complex.

The performance blend provides 1.5 g of L-citrulline, 1.5 g of beta-alanine, 750 mg of taurine and 250 mg of L-tyrosine. Rather than trying to build an extensive pump formula, Madness keeps this side of the product relatively compact.

The stimulant side of the formula is considerably more aggressive. A full scoop combines 310 mg of caffeine anhydrous with 100 mg of caffeine citrate standardized to 50% caffeine, resulting in approximately 360 mg of total caffeine per serving. The Caffeine & Energy Complex also includes 100 mg of Vitacholine® Choline Bitartrate and 5.3 mg of BioPerine® Black Pepper Extract.

That stimulant content places Madness firmly in high-caffeine territory and makes total daily caffeine intake worth considering, particularly for anyone also using coffee, energy drinks or other stimulant-containing supplements.

More Than a New Label

Limited-edition supplement releases can sometimes amount to little more than an existing product dressed in new packaging. Sin City Sangria goes further by carrying its Olympia and Las Vegas theme through both the presentation and the flavor itself.

The concept also fits naturally with MUTANT’s louder bodybuilding identity. By limiting the release to the period surrounding the Olympia, the brand has tied this version of Madness to a specific moment on the bodybuilding calendar rather than simply adding another permanent flavor to the lineup.

Final Takeaway

Sin City Sangria feels like a natural release for Olympia weekend. The flavor name immediately connects with Las Vegas, the limited production gives it some exclusivity, and putting it into Madness makes sense for a pre-workout that already carries one of MUTANT’s more aggressive identities.

More importantly, the flavor delivers on its name. What could easily have been a novelty release ends up tasting distinctly enough like red sangria to complete the concept.

Underneath the limited-edition presentation is the same current Madness formula, including approximately 360 mg of total caffeine per serving. That means Sin City Sangria is ultimately a new way to experience an existing high-stimulant pre-workout rather than a reformulation.

For MUTANT fans attending the 2026 Olympia, Sin City Sangria gives this year’s event its own version of Madness. For those following the Olympia from home, the standalone release extends a little of the Sin City experience beyond Las Vegas.
