Dana Linn Bailey Signs With Redcon1 As A Sponsored Athlete
By Roger “Rock” Lockridge
Ten years after being crowned the inaugural Ms. Physique Olympia, Dana Linn Bailey is still a popular figure in the fitness industry. Her social media following, YouTube channel, and Flag nor Fail brand all serve as indicators that her fans have been and remain loyal in spite of being away from the stage.
On Apr. 20, 2023, Bailey made headlines once again by announcing that she is “Redcon1.” Bailey, who created the Run Everything Labs supplement brand in 2014, has signed with Redcon1 as an athlete partner. Redcon1 also revealed that they have also acquired Run Everything Labs as a part of the deal. Bailey and Redcon1 made the news official in an Instagram post that you can see below.
The statement read that “Dana exemplifies REDCON1’s core values. Her burgeoning sports nutrition brand is championing powerful female athletes globally. Dana’s drive and dedication to achieving the impossible are what keeps her motivated daily.”
“The great thing is we’re going to combine forces,” Bailey said in the video of the announcement. “I’m excited to help Redcon1 grow, which will also help Run (Everything Labs) grow.”
Fans and supporters on both sides have been overwhelmingly positive with the news. Bailey’s husband Rob Bailey called it a “perfect match” in a comment on the post. Redcon1 founder Aaron Singerman shared that he was “super excited”.
2023 will be an interesting year for the Boca Raton, Florida based company. With Singerman back at the helm of the company, they’re already making moves by partnering with an athlete that they called a “powerhouse female fitness influencer” in their press release. Bailey has already been added to the Redcon1 site on their page of elite athletes. Other Redcon1 athletes on their roster include three-time Arnold Classic Champion Kai Greene, former All Elite Wrestling World Champion Kenny Omega, and pro mixed martial artist Sage Northcutt, among others.
Bailey hasn’t been onstage as a competitor since placing second at the 2015 Arnold Classic Women’s Physique International show. She’s been focusing on business and other ventures since then, but this move may be the biggest development for her career in recent years. No other details about the partnership were announced, but Muscle Insider will provide updates as they are announced.
