Bodybuilder And Coach Pit Trenz Dies At 53
It is with great sorrow that we report the untimely death of German bodybuilder and coach Pit Trenz. At only 53, he still had a lot of time to continue making an impact on the world of bodybuilding. He was not only a successful bodybuilder, but also a legendary coach having trained industry icons Dennis Wolf and Markus Rhul.
Pit’s death was confirmed by his wife IFBB Pro Sarah Trenz via heartbreaking post on Instagram.
Yesterday when we planned that I compete at my Pro Debut. My husband, Pit Trenz ( Former IFBB PRO), died after we were fighting side by side for 4 weeks. He was my heart, my life, my second half. He always said, we are one person. I don't know how life can go on. He was my life. I will push forward, only for him. Pit was most afraid of beeing separated from me. And I of him. The best person I have ever met.

As for the cause of death, apparently Pit had been struggling with health concerns for almost a year leading up to this point. Rumour has it he had been battling a heart condition earlier this year. Organ failure began to set in as a result of complications from the medication he was prescribed. As his health continued to decline, Trenz was admitted into a German hospital where it was discovered he was also battling pneumonia. As a result, Pit Trenz passed away in hospital on November 3rd, 2019.
We wish to offer our deepest condolences to Trenz’ family and friends. Rest in peace Pit Trenz.
