ARNOLD CLASSIC BRAZIL, SOUTH AFRiCA AND EUROPE IN THE 2018 IFBB CALENDAR

Both the IFBB Pro League and IFBB International are making up the competitive calendar for next season and, as an advance, the Arnold Classic Amateur in Brazil, South Africa and Europe (Spain) will be included as some of the most relevant events for the IFBB International.

The IFBB Pro League will be holding their IFBB Pro Qualifier amateur shows at 2 of 5 Arnold Sports Festivals (Ohio and Australia).

The big question which many want to know is, “Who will be competing in the pro portion of the shows in Spain, South Africa and Brazil?” There has already been an announcement from the IFBB Amateur League (aka IFBB International) that they will be holding various Pro Elite shows around the world, so one has to wonder if Pro League circuit shows will also take place in Spain, South Africa and Brazil, in order to give competitors the same opportunities.

For the 2018 season, the Arnold Classic Amateur will be an IFBB Elite Qualifier event and competitors qualified in Top 5 will take points for the 2018 Elite Ranking. Overall winners will earn the Pro Elite Card, if they choose to compete in the Pro Elite Circuit.

The 2018 Calendar will be approved by the IFBB Executive Committee, in the next World Congress held in Spain, over November 2nd-6th. The final dates for the 3 Pro Elite Arnold Classic Amateur will be published at this time as well.

Stay tuned for more info as the two organizations continue to unfold their plans!
