2020 Toronto Pro Supershow Expo Cancelled
We regret to report that the 2020 Toronto Pro Supershow is officially cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Muscle Insider has been covering this event since it’s inception and we were scheduled to host the official After Party like we do every year. So no pro show, no expo and no after party! Here’s the official release from the event promoters Ron & Angie Hache.
The COVID 19 pandemic has caused major disruption and anxiety worldwide. It has affected everyone's lives and has caused unprecedented restrictions to be put in place to curve its spread. As a result of these restrictions and the widespread uncertainty of this pandemic we are officially announcing the cancellation of the Toronto Pro SuperShow Expo and the IFBB Pro League Toronto Pro Championships. For now the Toronto Pro Qualifier has been postponed to the fall of 2020.
We would like to express our appreciation to athletes planning to compete for their patience in anticipating this announcement but would like to say there were many implications that had to be dealt with prior to cancelling/postponing an event of this size.
We would also like to thank our exhibitors and sponsors for their support and the promoters of various sporting events being held in the Expo for their work in organizing their respective competitions.
This year would have been the 10th Anniversary of the Toronto Pro SuperShow Expo and we were looking forward to celebrating this milestone with everyone who is passionate about fitness, however, cancelling the Expo is the right thing to do to keep our community safe and healthy.
Refunds will be issued to those who have registered to compete at the Toronto Pro Qualifier, as well as ticket purchasers and exhibitors.
Join us June 4 – 6, 2021 as we celebrate the Toronto Pro SuperShow 10th Anniversary.
