A big fitness weekend will be hosted in Reno, NV, and Olympia qualifications are on the line.

The 2026 Legion Sports Fest Pro bodybuilding event will be a big part of the overall Legion Sports Fest taking place in Reno, NV on Saturday, May 30. Muscle Insider previously spoke exclusively with promoter Chris Minnes, who said that he along with his Center Podium team anticipate this to be the biggest edition of the event yet.
“This one has grown into something different,” Minnes said. “This year, it’s going to be three blocks big.”
There will be several highlights and activities to check out, such as the motorcycle globe, fitness expo, and a strongman competition, among other events on the agenda. Many fans feel that the main event of the day will be the IFBB Pro League show, which will include six Olympia qualifying events. The full roster of athletes can be seen on the IFBB Pro League’s website.
MEN’S OPEN ATHLETES TO WATCH
The Men’s Open division will feature 10 competitors, all of whom will represent the United States. While anything can happen once the athletes take to the stage, we expect the top three in the callouts to be the following:
Tonio Burton
Tonio Burton is now a two-time New York Pro winner thanks to his victory earlier this month. He also took second in Pittsburgh behind winner Michal “Krizo” Krizanek. Burton won this competition in 2025 and 2022. The version of Burton that has been unleashed this season is unlike anything he presented in the past with more size, roundness, and detail. Many experts see him as the overwhelming favorite to win his third Legion title.
Lucas Carroll
Lucas Carroll made his 2026 debut at the California State Pro Championships on May 23rd, where he took bronze. He would have to be sharper in Reno than he was at that contest and could benefit if Burton is off the mark, but a first and final callout for Carroll in this lineup is likely, and a strong finish could give him momentum into another show.
Patrick Moore
Patrick Moore has already competed five times this season. His best finish to date was third at the 2026 Arnold Classic UK in March. He was fourth in California last weekend. If one was to look at the placings, it would appear that Moore has been inconsistent, but it has been more about who he has shared the stage with than anything he is doing. An exception to this could be made with his 10th place finish in Pittsburgh. This will be the third time he stands alongside Burton, and the judges could have them stand side-by-side this time around.
OTHER DIVISION CONTENDERS
The Classic Physique, Men’s Physique, Fitness, Bikini, and Wellness divisions will all be featured in Reno. 15 men will pose down in the Classic Physique division, including Eric Brown Jr., Camilo Diaz, Stanislas “Stanimal” De Longeaux, and Jeremiah Willies. Among the Men’s Physique contenders will be Masters Olympia winner Andre Ferguson, while multi-time winner and Bikini Olympia competitor Rayna Perez will be representing her division. The Fitness division will include seven competitors, and the Wellness category will host four athletes.
HOW TO WATCH
As of this writing, tickets are still available to purchase on the event’s website, and fans that won’t be in attendance can catch the action live by purchasing the event’s livestream. More details on those as well as all events taking place at the Legion Sports Fest can be found at www.centerpodium.com. Muscle Insider will also provide a recap of the bodybuilding action and photos from the event once it concludes.
