You may have already seen our predictions for the Women’s divisions of the 2024 New York Pro, set for Saturday, May 18th in Teaneck, New Jersey. Now, it’s the men’s turn. There are four divisions and none of them were easy to predict. This is an all-star lineup and we don’t envy the judges one bit. However, we needed to share our predictions before the show, and that is what we are doing. You can see the full lineup for all the divisions on the IFBB Pro League website. Here is how we see it going down on the men’s side of the stage,

Men’s Open

This is the show that has everyone talking. 2021 winner Nick Walker missed the 2023 Olympia due to an injury, and he needs to qualify to compete in Las Vegas for the 60th Olympia. This is in his backyard and is the heavy favorite. Tonio Burton and Martin Fitzwater are both qualified for the Olympia already but want that NY Pro ring to wear in Las Vegas. This is going to be a closer show than some people think, but we believe Walker will walk into the show as a one-time winner and walk out a two-time champion.

  1. Nick Walker
  2. Tonio Burton
  3. Martin Fitzwater

212

If Kerrith Bajjo is in the lineup, it is hard to predict against him. We get two top six Olympians in this lineup because joining Bajjo is Oleh Kryvyi, who finished sixth in the 2023 Olympia. Bajjo was fourth and is the defending champion here. He will go back-to-back in our opinion. The third spot can go to anyone, but we will suggest Valentin Petrov, who also has Olympia experience and is returning after a year-plus long absence.

  1. Kerrith Bajjo
  2. Oleh Kryvyi
  3. Valentin Petrov

Classic Physique

Eric Lisboa and Matthew Greggo put on a show for the fans at the Pittsburgh Pro, and they will likley do the same here. They will be in the top two, but we see them flipping positions this weekend. Greggo will avenge his loss and earn the win here, with Lisboa taking second place. Camilo Diaz will round out the top three, but make no mistake, he has been showing that he belongs in the mix among the top of the division.

  1. Matthew Greggo
  2. Eric Lisboa
  3. Camilo Diaz

Men’s Physique

We see the top two for the Pittsburgh Pro finishing in the same order in New Jersey. Ali Bilal was in crazy condition one week ago, and he can hold it for extended periods of time. Vitor Chaves may look better this time around, but we don’t think it will be enough. Completing the top three will be Andre Ferguson, who has been in the game for over a decade. He will represent New York well here.

  1. Ali Bilal
  2. Vitor Chaves
  3. Andre Ferguson

We will see how this all shapes up on May 18th, but in the meantime, let us know your thoughts on Instagram by following us @muscleinsider. We will also share a full recap of the event following the action in New Jersey.
