The 2024 Tampa Pro is in the history books, and it did not disappoint. All 10 divisions that were featured in this show included incredible competitors from around the world that brought their best to the stage. Some categories went as expected and some had some upsets. Let’s take a quick look back at all of them in this recap of the weekend’s excitement.

Men’s Open Bodybuilding

This was no surprise considering how Jon Delarosa placed in the top four at both Arnold Classic shows earlier this year. However, some fans felt that Mohamed Foda deserved the win. In the end, Delarosa secured the victory and Olympia qualification. This is his first win in Tampa.

  1. Jon De La Rosa
  2. Mohamed Foda
  3. Jordan Hutchinson
  4. Vladyslav Sukhoruchko
  5. Lewis Breed

Men’s 212 Bodybuilding

Jordan Janowitz deserved his first win and Olympia qualification at this show. This was the best he had ever looked in his pro career. Marcus Costa looked incredible as well, and he finished as the runner-up. The legend and 2008 Olympia 202 winner, David Henry, was not at his best but still looked amazing in his third-place finish.

  2. Marcus Costa
  3. David Henry
  4. Cam George
  5. Alex Dos Anjos

Classic Physique

We are not sure if anyone saw Justin Badurina coming, but we sure didn’t. He not only brought an incredible physique to the stage, but he pulled off the upset win over runner-up Gabriel Zancanelli, who is already qualified for the Olympia. That will be a big confidence booster for Badurina. Dancovea Anderson rounded out the top three.

  3. Dancovea Anderson
  4. Fabiony Sylvain
  5. Kyrylo Khudaiev

Men’s Physique

Mehdi Kabbadj left the Men’s Physique stage last as its champion this past weekend. He was certainly worthy of the win based on his appearance and confidence. Ricardo Cenat and Puwanat Putoya were both pleasant surprises as they joined him in the top three.

  3. Puwanat Putoya
  4. Mario Stewart
  5. Sadik Hadzovic

Women’s Bodybuilding

We thought Mayla Ash was going to emerge victorious in Tampa, but she was not at her best this time around. Kristina Mendoza was and claimed the win and Ms. Olympia qualification. She was joined by runner-up Michaela Aycock and bronze finisher Sheena Ohlig. Shout out to Canadian Lisa Kudrey, who took fourth place.

  4. Lisa Kudrey
  5. Mayla Ash

Fitness

Now, this was a show. The Fitness division was the most dramatic of all ten shows. The contest actually ended in a tie between Amber Steffen and Michelle Gales. The tie was broken by whoever scored better in the Routine round, which counts for two-thirds of the total score. That was Steffen, who took the title and Olympia qualification. Jeanine Taddeo settled for third place.

  2. Michelle Gales
  3. Jeanine Taddeo
  4. Annika Drescher
  5. Aurika Tyrgale

Figure

We got two of the top three right in our Figure predictions. Lena Ramsteiner claimed the championship, and Thais Cabrices-Werner claimed third. Kristen Mcgregor spoiled our picks by jumping up to second place. Ramsteiner was already qualified for the Olympia, which means no one else earned that qualification for this division.

  2. Kristen Mcgregor
  3. Thais Cabrices-Werner
  4. Marie-Solange Essoh
  5. Mayra Rocha

Bikini

2019 Bikini Olympia champion Elisa Pecini had to have an appendectomy earlier this year, which kept her out of the Arnold Classic. She returned to the stage and was triumphant in the Sunshine State. She got the win over Ivi Escandar and Reijuana Harley, who were second and third in that order. This was an inspiring performance by Pecini.

  2. Ivi Escandar
  3. Reijuana Harley
  4. Alice Rocha
  5. Ariana Brothers

Women’s Physique

Zama Benta came, saw, and conquered in Women’s Physique, just as we thought she would. She was in the top three in the 2023 Olympia and showed why in Tampa. Jeannie Feldman and Eileen Aviles Romero were both impressive, but Benta was not going to be denied.

  3. Elena Aviles Romero
  4. Paula Ranta
  5. Eileen Aviles

Wellness

Many people, including our own Wellness Observer Johnny Styles, thought Kassandra Gillis would walk away with the Wellness title, but Lisa Meiswinkel of Germany had other plans. The extra size she put on was a big factor in this decision. Meiswinkel will move on to the Olympia while Gillis, third-place finisher Juliana Mota, and the rest of the field will have to find another place to win. Kassandra already has her sights set on earning her ticket this weekend in Texas.

  4. Jasmine Baker
  5. Mara Walter
