2023 Rising Phoenix and Arizona Pro Predictions
Rising Phoenix
The main event of the weekend is the Women’s Bodybuilding show, the 2023 Rising Phoenix World Championships. Andrea Shaw has owned this and the Ms. Olympia contests since 2020 when the Ms. Olympia returned. She’s not only won both contests three times, but no one has appeared to come close to matching her.
Women’s Bodybuilding

- Chelsea Dion
- Julia Foery
- Taylor Iraggi
- Rene Marven
- LaDawn McDay

- Angela Yeo
- Tina Williams
Angela Yeo has been a rising star in the division, and she has a very bright future, but we’re not sure if her time has arrived yet. We see Shaw winning number four and heading into the Olympia with momentum. MayLa Ash will round out the top three, we think. A shout out is also in order for Canadian Nicki Chartrand, who will also be in this lineup.

- Angela Yeo

Arizona Pro
Fitness
- Rene L. Brosch
- Danielle Delikat
- Corina Harkelroad
- Stephanie Jones
- Sally Kendall-Williams
- Rachel Pitts
- Kristin Pope
- Kayla Rossi
The other women’s divisions at this show will be recognized as the Arizona Pro, and the Fitness division is included. Stephanie Jones and Sally Kendall-Williams are both in the lineup, and we can see them being the last two standing. It could be a toss-up, but we will suggest Jones for the victory. The third spot could go to anyone, but we have our eyes on Kristin Pope for that placing.

- Melody Zita
The Figure lineup is large and there may be no clear favorite going into the show. Some people may see rising star Shanice Abrams as the winner, while others may have their eyes on Rhea Gayle. Neither lady has qualified for the Olympia yet, and time is running out to do so. Gayle’s experience could serve her well here, so we will take her for the win. Keep your eyes on Stacey Steiner, who was third in the Orchid Pro this year. She could disrupt the final standings at the end.

- Katie Zaslove
The Bikini division has two names that stood out immediately, Daraha Hill and Reijuana Harley. Hill was fourth in the 2022 Bikini Olympia, and she qualified for the 2023 contest by winning the Janet Layug Battle of the Bodies show. Harley also qualified for the Olympia thanks to her victory at the Klash Series Southern USA Pro. It may be an easy call, but we see them as the top two in this contest. Choosing third place is a much tougher task, but we will go with Reyna Perez Mecalco, who also won a show this year.
- Daraja Hill

Women’s Physique
- Rachel Aronson

- Winsome White
- Heidi Worrell-Osborne
The Women’s Physique show is not an easy one to call. None of the competitors in the lineup are Olympia qualified going into the show. Winsome White was ninth and Ji Hye Lee of South Korea was 14th in the 2022 Olympia, while Claudia Gabriela de Leon Pardo was also in that lineup. She finished tied for 16th. They will be the top three, and we are going to choose White for the win in that one.

Outside of the main event, the Wellness division may have the most attention on it because the fans will all have their favorites. Simara Walter was the runner-up at the 2023 Masters Olympia, but she has placed high in open shows as well. Jennifer Zollars has placed second twice this season, and there’s Charlotte Pro runner-up Jasmine Payne. We will call them as the top three and hope we are right. Don’t be surprised if it’s a completely different result because all these competitors are so good.
